Permanent Diaconate General Information Meeting

The Diocese of Metuchen is looking for men who are interested in becoming Permanent Deacons. A new diaconate formation class will begin in spring 2020. If you are between the ages of 35 and 60, you are invited to attend a General Information Meeting on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. John Neumann Pastoral Center, 146 Metlars Lane, Piscataway. Applications for the 2020 class will be accepted near the end of this summer.

South Amboy Knights of Columbus Men's Retreat

The retreat will follow in St. Pat's Hall which is located underneath St. Mary Church with the entrance on Church Street. Rev. Sean W. Kenney will facilitate the Day of Reflection for the men of the diocese.

Prayer & Support Group for families affected by Mental Health Issues

The Diocese of Metuchen's Office for Persons with Disabilities will offer a Catholic Prayer and Support Group for Families Affected by Mental Health Issues on July 3 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ 07823. The group will meet the first Wednesday of each month and will offer spiritual support and tips on how to cope with this health issue.
