Memorial Day Mass at Resurrection Cemetery

Rev. Msgr. Joseph G. Celano, Episcopal Vicar of Administration, will preside at an outdoor Memorial Day Mass at 10 a.m. May 28, rain or shine, on the grounds of Resurrection Cemetery, Hoes Lane and Park Ave., Piscataway.

As part of a national Catholic cemeteries’ celebration entitled, “Serving God and Country: A Memorial Day Salute to Our Heroes,” the program was developed to honor those men and women who died while serving in the armed forces, as well as recognize both our active military and military veterans who have served our country. This year, there will be a wreath laying ceremony, which will include honor guard participation, the playing of TAPS at the end of the Mass.

Very Rev. Thomas J. Walsh, pastor of St. Bartholomew Parish in East Brunswick, will preside at an outdoor Memorial Day Mass at 10 a.m. May 28, rain or shine, on the grounds of Holy Cross Cemetery, 840 Cranbury South River Road, Jamesburg.

Memorial Day - St. John Neumann Pastoral Center Closed
