Vatican II and the Church of the Third Millennium - Session One

Join Fr. Gregory Uhrig for an exploration of the enduring power of Vatican II's teachings in our day. The course will be held on four consecutive Wednesdays from 10 am. – 11 a.m., beginning August 8. Based on a video series entitled Vatican II and the Church of the Third Millennium with Dr. Richard R. Gaillardetz, Ph.D., this course will offer an opportunity to reflect on and discuss the challenges facing the Catholic Church today. There is no charge to attend. 

Dr. Gaillardetz is a professor of systematic theology at Boston College. He received his Ph.D. in systematic theology from the University of Notre Dame and is currently the president of the Catholic Theological Society of America. He has written numerous articles and 10 books on matters of ecclesiology, the Second Vatican Council, and the Magisterium. 

The following four sessions are part one of a two-part series. The second part of the course will take place in November.

August 15: Preparation for the Council
August 22: The priesthood of the faithful
August 29: A pilgrim Church

Vatican II and the Church of the Third Millennium - Session Two

Join Fr. Gregory Uhrig for an exploration of the enduring power of Vatican II's teachings in our day. The course will be held on four consecutive Wednesdays from 10 am. – 11 a.m., beginning August 8. Based on a video series entitled Vatican II and the Church of the Third Millennium with Dr. Richard R. Gaillardetz, Ph.D., this course will offer an opportunity to reflect on and discuss the challenges facing the Catholic Church today. There is no charge to attend.

This weekend seminar (two days) is to awaken/ enhance your spiritual life, through our special companion and advocate, the Holy Spirit. The schedule allows for daily Mass (both days – 9am in main church). The program provides bibles (newcomers), continental breakfast, lunch, and a full program of presentation, witnessing, group discussion, reconciliation, prayer, praise and spiritual renewal. Come; taste and see the goodness of our Lord!
