Summer Event for Cadette Girl Scouts

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

$10 – registration required

Cadette Girl Scouts are invited to join the summer session to get a head start on their Marian Medal award. A field trip to the Blue Army Shrine in Washington, NJ will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $10.00 and snack and beverages will be supplied; please bring a brown bag lunch, hat, and sunscreen. Vocal Health Workshop

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Matthew LaPine, Clinician, Performer, Educator, Composer, Clinician, and Choral Director, will direct a vocal health workshop on July 27 at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Parish, Flemington. Handbell Workshop

Donna Kinsey, NPM Handbell Clinician, will direct a Handbell Workshop on Thursday, August 3 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, August 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the St. John Neumann Pastoral Center, 146 Metlars Ln., Piscataway. In this presentation, led by Anita Foley, participants will learn why we as a Church offer Family Life as part of our required curriculum; the themes and topics that should be integrated into the curriculum; and some practical ideas and effective methods. The Indian and Sri Lankan Apostolate and the Indian Communities of Goan, Gujarati, Mangalorean and Tamils, invite all to a Cultural Mass, program and dinner. The celebrant will be the Most Reverend George Antonysamy, Ph.D., Archbishop of Madras and Mylapore Archdiocese. This is an opportune moment for Catholics from the South East Asian subcontinent to come together as one community.
